more thanks

We would like to thank our many generous donors who are helping to make a difference in the lives of women in Zimbabwe.

ArtXchange: www.artxchange.org

We would like to thank ArtXchange for donating their beautiful, inspiring space to the evening.  ArtXchange is an international contemporary art gallery in the historic Pioneer Square district of downtown Seattle. ArtXchange aims to inspire cultural exploration, the expansion of global community and the exchange of ideas through art, film and photography by exhibiting contemporary art that reflects the diversity of influences shaping today’s global culture.

BeadforLife: www.beadforlife.com

BeadforLife has graciously donated jewelry made by Ugandan women for the evening.  BeadforLife eradicates extreme poverty by creating bridges of understanding between impoverished Africans and concerned world citizens. Ugandan women turn colorful recycled paper into beautiful beads, and people who care open their hearts, homes and communities to buy and sell the beads. The beads thus become income, food, medicine, school fees -- and hope. It is a small miracle that enriches us all. All profits from BeadforLife are invested in community development projects that generate income and help people work their way out of poverty.

Zimbags would like to thank the following businesses and individuals

for their generous donations:

DRY Soda - Seattle

Le Panier - Pike's Place

Morton's Steakhouse - Seattle

Starbucks - Pioneer Square
